Eco Prints
Eco printing is a sustainable and artistic technique that transfers the natural beauty of leaves, flowers, and other plant materials directly onto fabric. Using steam or pressure, the natural pigments of plants create delicate and detailed impressions without the use of synthetic dyes or chemicals. Every eco-printed textile is one-of-a-kind, reflecting the shapes, colors, and textures of the environment. At Aartyz, we embrace this earth-friendly process to craft textiles that are both visually striking and environmentally conscious – eco printing. It’s our way of blending design with nature—creating fashion that tells a story and respects the planet.
Block Printing
Block printing is a centuries-old method of hand-printing on textiles using carved wooden blocks and natural dyes. While its origins trace back to China, the craft found its finest expression in India. Indian artisans mastered techniques like dabu (mud-resist printing) and the use of mordants to achieve layered, intricate designs. These traditional methods continue to inspire globally admired textiles with rich, vibrant detail.
