Aarti had a corporate career. She entered a completely different world. She discovered Indian textiles and block printing. She chose to leave a conventional career path. She started ARTYZ. And over time, the hobby became a manufacturing enterprise with a social and environmental purpose.

Corporate years
Before ARTYZ, I spent over a decade building my career in the corporate and financial services world. It was a journey that taught me discipline, leadership, decision-making and the value of building something with purpose.
Discovering the craft
Along the way, I found myself drawn to India’s rich textile traditions and the timeless beauty of hand block printing. What began as a personal fascination slowly became a deeper connection with craft, colour, fabric and the people behind them.
The beginning of ARTYZ
What started as a passion and creative pursuit gradually grew into ARTYZ. I began exploring traditional techniques, fabrics and prints, with a desire to bring the beauty of Indian craftsmanship into contemporary lifestyles.
From passion to Manufacturing
ARTYZ evolved from a small creative venture into a manufacturing-led handcrafted brand. Building our own production capabilities allowed us to stay closely connected to the making process — from fabric and blocks to printing, finishing and the final product.
Craft with purpose
For me, ARTYZ has always been about more than creating beautiful products. It is about creating opportunities. Over the years, the brand has grown with a strong focus on employment, skill development and creating meaningful livelihoods through craft.
FROM FLORAL WASTE TO WEARABLE ART
Our journey with sustainability led us to explore eco-printing and natural dyeing using recycled floral waste collected from temples, events and celebrations. What would otherwise be discarded is transformed into natural colour and unique textile art — connecting sustainability, craftsmanship and creativity..
